Currently, a free IP address with SSL is offered for Denver Hosting only.

Your main domain name + "www" hostname of the same domain name will be protected by SSL certificate. For example, if you're buying Rapid SSL for test.com, then test.com & www.test.com will be secured by SSL certificate.

What is a hostname? Hostname is a CommonName that represents your domain name or sub-domain name. For example, in a test.com domain name, 'test.com' is a hostname. Apart from test.com, www.test.com, abc.test.com, xyz.test.com are also separate hostnames. By default, we cover protection for 3 hostnames with the Multi-domain plan sign up. Please note that, test.com & www.test.com are considered as two separate hostnames.

When you sign up for Multi-domain SSL plan, the first 3 hostnames are protected at no additional cost. For securing additional hostnames, $25 per hostname per year fees will be charged. If you are protecting 3 hostnames like www.test.com, www.xyz.com and www.abc.com, that will not cover the hostnames without www extension (e.g. test.com, xyz.com and abc.com) will not be protected. You will have to purchase additional hostname security ($25 per year per hostname) for each of them.

This plan will cover your main domain name plus all the subdomains under that main domain name. For example, if you are buying Wildcard SSL for test.com, all the subdomains like www.test.com, sub1.test.com, sub2.test.com will also be secured.
